Zon 課題組用斑馬魚(yú)胚胎進(jìn)行藥物篩選, 發(fā)現了雙氫乳清酸酯脫氫酶 (Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase, DHODH)的抑制劑, 比如來(lái)氟米特(Leflunomide), 能抑制神經(jīng)脊細胞發(fā)育。在哺乳動(dòng)物模型里的實(shí)驗表明, 通過(guò)抑制DHODH 可以有效抑制黑素瘤在體外和體內的增殖。Leflunomide 也被批準進(jìn)入了臨床實(shí)驗, 與Vemurafenib 聯(lián)合用藥治療黑素瘤(ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier NCT01611675)。
